Sauna Icon 385 is an impressive sauna that combines spaciousness with elegant design and excellent materials. With a total size of 385 x 231 x 236 cm, this sauna provides plenty of space for several people and offers both a sauna and a relaxation room. The construction consists of 42 mm thick side walls and 28 mm thick front and rear walls, which ensures optimal insulation and long life.
The double glass door and the large window sections in 8 mm tempered bronze glass provide a light and airy atmosphere inside the sauna. There is also the option of choosing a crescent-shaped back wall, which adds a unique architectural element to the sauna’s appearance.
The sauna is supplied with all necessary equipment, including sauna benches, floor, heat shield, roof shingles and stainless steel bands. The terrace area provides a natural transition from the sauna to the outdoor environment, making it easy to enjoy a break and cool off between sauna sessions.
DESIGN
Cube-like design fits well to even modern gardens of today. This new design gives a better sauna experience as it has more room behind the back than a standard barrel has. Still easily assembled and movable like a barrel sauna.

Due to the great 2-room design with an extra changing/relaxing room you can always take quick rests from sauna to chat with your loved ones. This extra room also helps to preserve heat loss in the sauna room and this model can be used with electric and wood burning heaters of client choice.
PROPERTIES & PRODUCTION OF THERMOWOOD
During the thermowood treatment, the wood is heated to temperatures between 180 and 230° Celsius in the absence of oxygen. The ability of the wood to absorb water is thereby greatly reduced and wood-degrading fungi and bacteria lose their food source. This increases the durability of the wood. All wooden parts of the barrel sauna (except door frames, window frames, roof panels and foundation beams) are made of Nordic thermowood.

The thermowood treatment gives the wood a uniform, brown color that turns gray under UV radiation like all other types of wood. We therefore recommend treating the wood with a wood preservative anyway.

The gardensauna.co.uk does not do an electrical installation, but it’s an easy job for a qualified local electrician.
